Athletes that attend our camps will get a total running experience. By the end of the week every athlete will have done plenty of running, taken part in race strategy training, and plyometric conditioning workouts. We believe in showing how important “the little things” are in developing a “total runner”.

The workouts

Morning practices will focus on the actual running. Harder workouts will be during the morning sessions. Our coaches will explain to the athletes the benefits of each workout, and how they combine to help you maximize your potential. The workouts do not take the place of your high school or club program, it instead should raise your awareness to what it means to be a “complete runner.”

The afternoon practices are more like “active clinics” In the afternoon we’ll teach race strategies, proper form drills, warmup & warmdown routines, CrossFit style workouts, and plyometrics. The athlete that leaves our camp will have a full understanding of the importance of all aspects of training, and how it helps to make the “total runner.”

You get to train in a highly motivational, beautiful environment with great coaches, collegiate runners as counselors, and with all the great runners with you at camp.

The Clinics

Each day you will attend two running clinics covering a variety of topics that will both educate and motivate you to take your running to the next level. You will learn the fundamentals of proper distance running training including- the importance of proper nutrition, visualization techniques, goal setting, race techniques, flexibility, and recovery.

You will listen to world class runners recount stories from their careers, and offer training advice from the top of the sport. NCAA Collegiate coaches will discuss what it takes to put together championship teams, and how you can use these same ideas to improve your team back home.

Optional Advanced clinics are presented each afternoon to raise your running knowledge, and love for the sport.
